Hmmmm so I am rather intriqued by the word 'runner'.
Is just the physical act of running? Everyone, mostly, can run if they choose to.
Is it the distance? Does a 'runner' run farther? faster? More frequently?
I am starting out on a quest: To finish the Couch to 5K program. It is an 8 week program that gets you off the couch and running a 5K. Since I am over 50 and way over weight, I figure it might take me a couple of extra weeks, but so long as I move forward, I won't be going backward...

I run, rather inelegantly 4 times a week. It is an awkward combination of fast walking, punctuated by bursts of faster shuffling of my feet.
Does this make me a runner? Or am I just a wanna be?
Whatever it is, I am convinced that I will be a runner when I am done with this program!
